Rest’s Service business unit is accountable for working with our Partners to deliver upon the service expectations of our Members and Employers. Working across all other Rest business units, we are the face into our Partners. The Solutions & Remediation team has two main priorities: taking ownership of the remediation identified through to completion and proactively investigating tasks, functions and issues which may lead to a degradation in service and possible remediation. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Gathering and documenting requirements: Working with other SME’s and across Partners, gather, review, analyse, validate, evaluate, and how business systems and processes have “behaved” to identify issues, their root cause, and possible solutions. Validate through the analysis of data. Propose alternatives for consideration.
  • Managing stakeholders: Engage, inform and negotiate with stakeholders in similar roles to elicit and validate requirements and prioritise them.
  • Analysing and modelling: Analyse documents, programs, process flows and specifications as required.
  • Team communication and collaboration: Work closely with team members, Service colleagues, and contacts at Partners to ensure everyone understands the agreed investigations and remediation requirements. Monitor for completion when reliant on other parties to execute instructions.
  • Planning & Reporting: Using agreed Rest templates and formats, ensure team plans are documented, tracked and reported upon.
  • Delivery: Execute to the agreed plans to investigate and remediate assigned issues. Identify lessons learnt and insights to minimise future issues and incidents.
  • Risk and issue management: Identify risks and issues and assist in developing effective mitigation/management strategies according to Rest’s risk framework, communicate and gain commitment to, risk assessments and plans to the necessary stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Appropriate university qualifications preferred
  • Effective analytical, problem solving, issues management and evaluation skills to deliver innovative solutions
  • Attention to detail and ability to document plans and track their execution.
  • Effective communication, facilitation, and reporting/presentation skills, including the ability to influence people at similar levels, and foster and maintain collaborative working relationships both within and outside the organisation
  • Experience analysing issues and incidents for root cause and identification of possible solutions
  • Business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services desirable
  • Ability to understand business functionality and interdependencies
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads
