- Senior Relationship Manager (B2B) to manage complex Employer Superannuation Accounts in of $1b+
- Strategic account management capability to drive retention, growth, and expansion opportunities
- Strong relationship and influencing skills to navigate at all levels, up to C' level.

As a Relationship Manager (Senior Relationship Manager) at Rest, your key responsibility is to retain and grow a portfolio of Rest's largest existing clients by providing employers and members exceptional account and relationship management services. By understanding their specific needs and goals, you will offer personalised support and tailored solutions, building strong and enduring relationships.
Your role is critical to the company's success, as your commitment to outstanding service and effective communication of Rest's value will drive client retention and portfolio growth. Additionally, your focus on creating positive client experiences will expand Rest's reach through recommendations and amplifying our market reputation.
As a (Senior) Relationship Manager at Rest, you play an essential role in driving client retention, growth, and expansion.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Own and lead the retention and growth efforts for a portfolio of Rest's largest existing employer clients.
- Act as a representative for Rest superannuation industry and association partner forums to effectively promote and maintain our strong market position and brand awareness among our clients.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities by developing and maintaining relationships with senior and executive employer contacts, influencers, and key decision makers.
- Identify new opportunities within existing employers/parent companies, such as sub-plans or brands within a group, to drive growth.
- Strengthen engagement with key employer contacts through regular meetings, including the ongoing governance of the employer Management Committees.
- Develop and proactively deliver annual engagement and activity plans with employers aligned with Rest's strategic objectives.
- Identify opportunities to implement or enhance existing products and services for employers and their staff, in line with Rest's culture and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with Rest teams and partners to deliver market-leading customer service and resolve issues promptly.
- Produce and deliver tailored client reports that provide insights into employer/employee activities, product usage, and engagement, and presenting to the Rest Executive Leadership Team.
Qualifications
- RG 146 compliance
- A Diploma in Financial Planning or relevant Tertiary qualifications is highly valued.
- Significant experience to successfully manage and nurture business-to-business relationships with the Australian Superannuation industry.
- Proven ability to effectively manage strategic accounts, driving growth and delivering exceptional client service of accounts of a minimum of $1billion.
- Experience developing and maintaining long-term client partnerships, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering mutual growth.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including executives, board members, and industry leaders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration, negotiation, and relationship building with key stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of superannuation practices, including contribution rules, fund structures, investment options, and retirement benefit calculations.
- Up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation and regulations governing superannuation, such as compliance requirements and disclosure obligations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills to convey complex concepts and technical information clearly and concisely.
