Primary Purpose
The Member Online Project aims to launch an upgraded Member Portal for Rest members, where the current MUFG platform will migrate from Member Access to Member Online Portal. Rest is seeking a Senior Test Analyst responsible for test planning and execution for the project's delivery. This role will perform functional and integration testing in line with Quality Assurance standards, ensuring reliable and efficient project changes,working closely with the Test Manager, Test Lead, and other Test Analysts in the team.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for all solution components, including third-party integrations, API layer, mobile app, and website.
- Collaborate with vendors to implement testing activities and phases in line with project timelines.
- Coordinate test environments, review business requirements, and manage testing processes using tools like Jira/Zephyr.
- Generate test reporting dashboards with industry-standard quality matrices, providing insights into test coverage and defect status.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, working closely with developers and vendors for timely resolution.
- Liaise with business stakeholders to gather feedback and integrate it into testing processes for continuous improvement.
- Utilise various testing tools and methodologies to perform thorough testing across all assigned areas.
- Analyse test results and provide meaningful feedback to the Test Lead, Test Manager, and project team.
Experience with superannuation digital platforms is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in technology.
- Formal QA certification/s relevant to the role.
Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
- Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst.
- Experience in defining Enterprise Testing Strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in performing end-to-end testing in accordance with an established Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Demonstrated hands on experience in coordinating and managing UAT for big programs
- Experience carrying out Test Planning, stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of testing principles, methods, tools and technologies, including plans, scenarios, strategies and related procedures
- Experience designing and developing Test Plans and Test Cases with minimal Requirements and Design documents.
- Working knowledge of test automation frameworks and its implementation
- Ability to work autonomously and act as the point of contact on projects where required.
- Industry experience within Superannuation is preferred.
- Proven track record of a positive “Can Do” attitude is required.
