As the Marketing Automation Manager in the Communications and Content team, you will support the marketing automation strategy and execution to drive member engagement and growth. You will oversee the development and delivery of sophisticated email, SMS, app, and event campaigns in Marketo and manage the Webinar program, ensuring they align with business objectives and member needs.

You will also collaborate broadly with other teams such as member experience, workplace, data teams and external agencies and will play a critical role in project management, leading more complex marketing automation initiatives, operationalising new platform capabilities, and driving best practices across the team.

  • Lead stakeholder collaboration with member experience, workplace and data teams to develop targeted, relevant, and on-brand campaigns that align with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee and manage email deliverability, subscription preferences, and compliance with opt-in laws and regulations, ensuring best practices are upheld.
  • Drive continuous optimisation of campaign and email templates, ensuring they evolve with changing business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage relationships with external agency partners and internal member experience teams to refine email communications, develop lifecycle mapping, and establish automated journey triggers.
  • Peer review and support build of automation programs across direct channels including email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Own and manage the end-to-end webinar program, working cross-functionally to plan, execute, and optimise digital events that support member education and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar position.

Required experience, knowledge and/credentials:

  • Proficient with Marketo (or other marketing automation solution i.e. Braze, Hubspot, Pardot, Eloqua, Adobe Marketing Cloud).
  • Experience with cross-channel campaign management (email, SMS, App and events), segmentation, and data analysis.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels.
  • Solid documentation and organisational skills.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience creating and running webinars is highly desirable.
