Job Description
As a "Junior Systems Administrator", your focus will be supporting servers and desktops in a multi-platform postproduction environment in collaboration with senior administrators. The computational resources supporting this work include specialized playback and rendering devices; PB-scale storage; virtualized computing environments; Linux and Windows-based servers; 100s of desktop/laptop resources including PC's, Mac's, and Linux devices both on site and in the cloud.
What you will do:
Configure new and maintain existing computer systems. This work will include specification for purchase, installation, and configuration of workgroup servers, desktop personal office computers, and portable laptops for telework and TDY.
Install and maintain base operating systems that span the gamut of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and various commercial Linux distributions.
Assist with the compliance of cybersecurity controls, to include determining the impacts of vulnerabilities, develop and implement mitigation plans, and document all findings.
Support QC operators and administrative personnel in their use of the computing resources you administrator.
Qualifications
Experience we look for:
Administration and/or desktop support in Linux, Windows, and Mac environments.
Aiding users and optimizing system operations in a multi-platform environment.
Experience with software deployment methods for applications, patches, and operating systems.

Experience with AWS or other cloud provider.
Experience with complex network configurations and fibre channel

Additional Information
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. Starting salary is flexible dependent on relevant experience. Our primary facility is located in Burbank, CA.

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Burbank, CA are encouraged to apply.
