The Reporters Committee serves news organizations, reporters, editors, documentary filmmakers, media lawyers, and many more who use its online resources.

Job Description

The RCFP legal team offers up to three full-time summer internships for current law students (1Ls and 2Ls). Legal interns have the opportunity to work with Reporters Committee attorneys on litigation and amicus-related projects, conduct legal research, and gain hands-on experience addressing a broad range of media law issues.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will be detail-oriented and interested in expanding their knowledge about U.S. press freedom and media law issues.  A strong background or interest in journalism is preferred.
