Job Description

Your Responsibilities

As the Manager Finance & Accounting, you will oversee the financial and accounting operations of RepRisk's headquarters in Zurich. Additionally, you will handle accounting for select subsidiaries and manage a small accounting team based in our Manila office in the Philippines. With your professional and structured work approach you continuously strive for improving the financial and accounting processes of the RepRisk Group companies. Located in Zurich, you will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the Financial Controller.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the accounting of RepRisk AG, including financial closing, consolidation, and audits, as well as the accounting for subsidiaries
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the accounting team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement
  • Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial controls and reporting processes
  • Leading or assisting with various finance projects in collaboration with your team and the CFO, including IFRS implementation
  • Managing group-wide treasury processes
  • Assisting the Financial Controller in planning processes, including forecasts and budgets
  • Planning, coordinating and managing external audits to ensure compliance and an overall smooth audit process for all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong internal controls to mitigate financial risks
  • Assessing, recommending, and implementing financial accounting systems and tools to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities
  • Administering the enterprise resource planning tool, Microsoft Business Central
  • Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international tax laws and regulations

Qualifications

You Bring  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; a Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in an international SME environment
  • Experience with financial closing and group consolidation (OR and IFRS)
  • International accounting experience in a multinational company is essential
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographic boundaries
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A system and process-driven mindset
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central, QuickBooks, and Xero, as well as expense management tools like Yokoy and Power BI, is advantageous
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English and German, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical internal audiences
  • Capacity to critically assess existing processes and propose improvements
