Job Description

This position requires an analytical, highly-proficient and detailed professional to accurately and quickly process service request orders, oversee the change order hotline, set up new client accounts, maintain accurate client templates and effectively handle customer service calls. The ability to multi-task, prioritize, clearly communicate (both verbally and written) and meet demanding deadlines is a necessity to the success of this role.


1.       Key responsibilities include support for the sales, operations and Contractor teams. Included, but not limited to:

A)      Change Order Hotline.  A primary responsibility for this position is to answer calls from Contractor’s calling the Change Order Hotline and update/verify the change order request real-time.  This duty is backed up by the Client Service Team.

B)      Process Service Request Orders. A primary responsibility for this position is to take and process all orders for floor covering, carpet cleaning and refinishing divisions for all markets.

C)      Customer Service Calls. A primary responsibility for this position is to provide excellent internal and external customer service and follow-up with clients calling to request customer service support.

D)      New Client Accounts and Templates.  A secondary responsibility for this position is to set up new client accounts using our customized software.

E)      Back-Up Support. A secondary responsibility for this position is to provide back-up support for the Quote conversion, template creation and in unit special orders.

F)      Communication and availability. This position is a “hub” for many business processes, being highly communicative and available is essential to the success of the position. Quick response time and detailed follow-up skills are expected.



Previous experience in the multi-family housing or floor covering industry is highly desirable.  An intermediate level of technical knowledge is required for; Word, Excel and Outlook. This individual must be reliable, motivated to succeed and present a positive attitude and professional appearance.

Additional Information

MV license, education, work history and criminal background checks are required prior to final offer of employment. A valid driver’s license is desirable. This position is normally a routine 40-hour week. Overtime must be approved in advance by your supervisor. Occasional weekends may be required specially during the beginning and end of the month. Must be able to lift 40lbs.
