Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Verification Manager to lead and grow our digital hardware verification capabilities. This role combines strong hands-on technical expertise in digital verification and UVM methodologies with proven technical leadership and people management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end verification of complex digital IC blocks and systems.
- Define and drive verification strategies, plans, methodologies, and quality standards.
- Lead the development and ownership of UVM-based verification environments from specification through verification closure.
- Build and scale new verification teams and capabilities, supporting team ramp-up and organizational growth.
- Provide strong technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to verification engineers.
- Manage and develop team members, including performance management, professional development, and career growth.
- Drive verification best practices and continuously improve verification methodologies, flows, and processes.
- Work closely with RTL design, architecture, and other cross-functional teams to improve specifications and ensure comprehensive verification coverage.
- Take ownership of verification execution, quality, schedules, and delivery.
- Identify technical risks and drive solutions to ensure high-quality and timely product delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with global engineering teams across different geographies.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Digital Hardware Verification, with strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Proven experience developing complex UVM-based verification environments.
- 3+ years of experience in technical leadership, leading verification projects and/or engineering teams.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Strong experience defining verification strategies and driving projects from specification through verification closure.
- Experience building, ramping up, or scaling verification teams and capabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of digital design and verification methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and establish technical best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Occasional travel
