Job Description
Renesas Palm Bay Operations team is looking for an Electronics Burn-In Test Technician. In this position, the successful candidate will perform a variety of manufacturing duties, i.e., using measurement equipment to perform functionality testing of burn-in boards and test sockets, loading test units onto burn-in boards, loading and unloading board ovens, data logging and material handling.
Candidate will need to read schematics, debug and complete minor repairs on Burn-in boards. Candidate must be knowledgeable on electronic measurements such as voltage, current, capacitance and be able to use equipment such as VOM meter, Oscilloscope and Power supplies. Must know Ohms Law.
Candidate will be required to work in a clean room environment, including wearing clean room garments and ground strap. Candidates with previous manufacturing experience and multi-tasking is a plus.
This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret written instructions. Once trained, the candidate, will be required to work independently and meet quality and productivity expectations. This opportunity is on a five-day work week schedule 6:45am - 3:15pm. Majority of work time requires standing.
Minimum Requirements:
· 2-year Technical Electronics degree, or equivalent work experience
· Basic Windows PC and Office skills, especially Microsoft Outlook, Access, and Excel
· Experience working with work teams
