Job Description

We are seeking a Staff-level Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Altium Workspace (Altium 365 / Concord Pro) to lead enterprise-wide adoption, integration, and optimization initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and strategic influence to successfully transition engineering teams from legacy or disparate workspaces into a unified Altium ecosystem. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Act as the primary SME and advisor for engineering leadership, PCB designers, and cross-functional teams. 

  • Engage with engineering departments, program managers, and stakeholders to drive migration and adoption. 

  • Lead discussions, workshops, and demos to articulate the business and technical value of workspace solutions. 

  • Implemented Workspace/EDM deployment across multiple teams and established enterprise-wide governance. 

  • Recommend and implement scalable Workspace architectures to support growing engineering teams, multiple projects, and evolving design requirements. 

  • Effectively address concerns related to migration, performance, workflows, and governance. 

  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing engineering work. 

  • Support pilot rollouts and scale adoption across multiple teams/sites. 

  • Establish best practices for library management, version control, collaboration, and lifecycle management. 

  • Guide integration with PLM, ERP, and other enterprise systems.  

  • Develop and deliver training programs, documentation, and onboarding materials. 

  • Gather feedback and continuously optimize workflows and configurations. 

Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech with 10+ years of professional Experience. 
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior engineering stakeholders. 

  • Deep experience, knowledge, and skills in Altium Workspace platforms (Altium 365 / Concord Pro) 

  • Strong hands-on experience with JIRA data and Agile metrics reporting  

  • Strong level proficiency in Power BI / Tableau or equivalent 

  • Proven experience leading tool migration or digital transformation initiatives. owning and managing Workspace environments at project or organizational level 

  • Strong understanding of PCB design processes and integration with workflows 

  • Proven ability to mentor engineers and drive adoption of tools and workflows across teams 

  • Demonstrated expertise in design data management, configuration control, and engineering change management (ECO processes)
