Sr Procurement/Purchasing Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to support new product introduction (NPI) programs for advanced semiconductor solutions. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams, this role will drive sourcing and supplier management for direct, secondary, and packing materials. The position plays a key role in ensuring cost-effective, reliable supply to support next-generation AI-powered products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source materials to support semiconductor development and production needs
  • Manage RFQ/RFP processes and evaluate supplier quotations
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supplier agreements
  • Engage suppliers early to support new product builds (NPI)
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery, resolving supply issues as needed
  • Support supplier audits and performance evaluation 

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Industrial Studies, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor operations or manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate cost, supplier performance, and commercial terms.
  • Good communication skills and proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Good to Have:

  • Experience supporting NPI programs or advanced packaging.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor materials (direct, indirect, packing).
  • Exposure to supplier audits and quality systems.
