Job Description
In the role of application engineer for Renesas, basic knowledge of power conversion theory is required, with clear theoretical concept of discipline. You will develop professional expertise based on limited guidelines and supervising by your mentor, working on different kinds of assigned tasks, often varied, achieving in short time the ownership of your assigned activity.
Applying the new learned technique, you will be able to solve issues and provide alternative and creative solutions to accelerate your career path. You will work with the most experienced power engineers in the world, building productive working relationships and collaborating on projects and delivering.
This role has direct responsibility of our equipment providing support to the product design and system validation process through lab bench activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Automation measure bench setup
- Python scripting for bench automation
- Evaluation board bring-up
- Data collection
- Schematic design
- Design of new reliability test procedures
Qualifications
This role requires a master’s degree in electronic or Electric Engineer, with proved advanced knowledge in power conversion technology; or bachelor’s degree in electronic or Electric engineer if followed by at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Direct experience with benches measurements on complex mixed signals power system board.
- The use of at least one circuital simulation CAD.
- knowledge and use of a PCB cad tool for design and review of PCB layout
- Medium level of English both speech and write.
