Job Description

To further strengthen our HPC Product Marketing Team (MCU) at our Duesseldorf location, we are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Principal Product Marketing Specialist to play a key role in driving the growth of our next generation automotive MCU product portfolio across global markets.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Team:

  • Support of Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers
  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies for our MCU portfolio
  • Define product positioning, messaging and differentiation
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking
  • Work with internal marketing teams and design section to define and follow-up on roadmaps for Renesas microcontroller products
  • Develop and drive market introduction plan (e.g., lead customers, lead market segment/ application, etc.) worldwide
  • Drive responsible departments for the complete “product package” (documentation, starter kits, flyer, software) for market introduction including training of the sales force for assigned products
  • Produce public marketing materials such as whitepapers, press releases, webinars, etc.
  • Work with internal 1st and 2nd level support teams for MCU products
  • Coordination and effective information exchange with our Renesas global teams

Qualifications

  • Graduate in electronic/computer engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in product/technical marketing and/or FAE in MCU semiconductor industry
  • Experience in the automotive market, understanding of Carmaker and Tier 1 requirements
  • Deep knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers (Renesas or other) and Eco-systems
  • Good sense of understanding technical requirements and customer expectations
  • Strong communication skills, team-oriented and ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German (preferable)
  • Work with software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS-Office)
  • Ideally experience in:
    • Automotive system and E/E architecture
    • Customer negotiations
    • Product definition and requirement management
    • Handling of complex technical RfQ’s in collaboration with key customers
    • MCU architecture / Networking
    • Functional Safety / Security
    • Embedded Software
