Renesas is seeking a package expert for its AI High Density Power Modules product families. These products push the technology limits of speed, density, and efficiency and deliver power to the highest performance computing and connectivity functions. Typical applications include Artificial Intelligence, High Performance Networking, and other High Performance Computing applications. This role sits within our Performance Computing Power business, which is one of the fastest-growing and exciting product lines at Renesas, with a multi-market scope and a large product development team.
Job Description
- Interface with FAEs to provide design in support
- Participate in validation activities to demonstrate product performance and capability
- Develop valuable IP by finding unique solutions to critical customer problems.
- Interface with key ASIC suppliers (Intel/ AMD/ Nvidia/Bcom etc) to understand critical requirements.
- Success in this position requires an ability to ensure that product architecture can deliver on market performance demands. An ability to understand nuance in customer demands and motivate team members accordingly is required. Excellent communication skills and technical understanding are required to succeed.
Qualifications
- MSEE /BSEE with 10+ years of experience in Engineering or technical equivalent in power management.
- Experience with multiphase DC/DC converters powering large scale ASICs.
- Experience in power modules and thermal analysis is a plus
- Experience in PCBA process is preferred
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
