Job Description

As an Environmental Quality Assurance Engineer, this position executes product chemical compliance by applying regulatory knowledge and preparing reports based on supplier-provided data. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare product chemical compliance reports using supplier-provided data (RoHS, REACH, IMDS, ChemSHERPA).
  • Ensure alignment between customer requirements and Renesas chemical management standards.
  • Maintain and update product environmental data in systems.
  • Drive improvements to chemical substance management systems and processes.
  • Support automation projects for Environmental Quality Assurance.
  • Contribute to global projects to standardize product environmental management. 

Qualifications

Must Have

  • Experience in investigating chemical substances contained in products and reporting to business partners.
  • Knowledge of materials (metal materials, resin materials, chemical substances, etc.) is required.
  • Knowledge of IT databases.
  • Ability to conduct business communication and documentation in English
