We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Electronic Test Lab Intern to support our engineering team in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic components and power devices. This role offers valuable experience in semiconductor testing, power electronics, and lab operations. The intern will work with high-voltage SiC/GaN devices, assist in test fixture assembly, and help collect and analyze performance data. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical lab experience and develop skills in power electronics testing and device characterization.
Responsibilities:
- Follow lab safety guidelines when working with high-voltage devices.
- Assist in testing and documenting power device characteristics.
- Assemble and maintain test fixtures based on engineering specifications.
- Operate and troubleshoot test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, etc.).
- Support data collection and analysis for engineering reports.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an AS/BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field. (Must not have graduated before September 2026)
- Basic electronics knowledge (circuits, components, and testing procedures).
- Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, power meters).
- Hands-on experience with soldering and basic lab tools (preferred).
- Ability to read schematics and follow test procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for data analysis and documentation.
Additional Information
The expected hourly pay range for this position is $31.25 - $41.50. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer amount, including any applicable bonuses, will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, and skillset of the candidate.
