Key Responsibilities of the Team:
- Technical Leadership: Leverage your in-depth expertise to support interdisciplinary development teams. Ensure that the teams focus on successful solutions, particularly around development tools for the automotive industry. Share your knowledge and mentor less experienced team members.
- Customer Engagement: Win customers’ trust by superior technical support to Renesas’ customers and partners, addressing all aspects of our MCU ecosystem and tools.
- Marketing and Sales Support: Offer efficient technical assistance to our marketing and sales teams during design activities, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
- Provide technical training to FAE, Sales, partners, and customers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless interaction and optimal performance of our tools and systems.
- Team Management: Lead the Ecosystem Tools team and coordinate available resources to ensure smooth implementation from concept and specification to design, implementation, and validation.
Qualifications
You are best equipped for this role if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field of study.
- Proven experience in leadership role, directly managing a team of hardware and software engineers.
- Experienced in HW/SW development of automotive application
- Knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and development tools
- Motivation to initiate and drive projects to completion with an open mind for working in an international environment.
- Good sense of understanding technical requirements and customer expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Creativity, a collaborative spirit, and enthusiasm for teamwork.
