Job Description
Job Summary
Lead and manage operational planning activities — including demand/supply planning, capacity & resource allocation, inventory/WIP management, and coordination with manufacturing, subcontractors (OSAT), procurement, sales/business units — to ensure timely delivery, optimal production flow, minimal bottlenecks, and efficient resource utilization
Key Responsibilities
- Role included managing & driving OSAT delivery performance & inventory / WIP status, working with OSAT subcontractors, managing die loading, assembly & test subcontractor performance, raw material management, WIP management, on-time delivery & cycle time, monthly forecast/commit allocations & negotiation, monitoring actual loading vs forecast
- Analyse capacity requirements and identifies areas for actions to reduce and/or increase capacity
- Preparing production orders, monitor WIP movement, resolving material shortages / backlog, inventory control (slow-moving / obsolete stock)
- Ensures continues OSAT loading according to agreed capacities (daily/weekly run rates)
- Identifies areas for improvement on the processes, procedures, work instructions and systems (tools) used within the Global Supply Chain team. Works together with the System Engineering team to create functional specifications and performs (system) tests and checks to verify the correct functionality required.
- Resolve B2B errors or issue tickets and coordinate with IT for resolution
- Generate KPI reports
Qualifications
Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Engineer, Technician or specialist with related commercial and technical education
- Over 2 years’ experience with technical and commercial responsibility, preferable in the semiconductor related industry
- Knowledge of production flows in the semiconductor- or related electronics industry.
- Background in Production Planning & Control related functions would be an asset.
- Good analytical skills
- Must be able to work under stressful conditions
- Fluent English, verbal and in writing
- Good communication skill
- Have experience with ERP or MES systems
