To manage and control company expenses and costing processes, ensuring accurate financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. This role drives cost optimization initiatives, monitors performance against KPIs, and supports strategic decision-making through detailed analysis of expenses, manpower, inventory, and pricing.

Cost Control Specialist

To manage and control company expenses and costing processes, ensuring accurate financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. This role drives cost optimization initiatives, monitors performance against KPIs, and supports strategic decision-making through detailed analysis of expenses, manpower, inventory, and pricing.

Expense & Cost Control

  • Monitor, analyze, and provide feedback on expense control
  • Prepare and submit monthly expense forecast and Actual
  • Conduct monthly control analysis and coordinate the cost analysis meetings
  • Perform monthly labor cost and expenses allocation analysis

Financial Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare and review management reports KPI dashboards
  • Coordinate and making yearly/half-yearly budgets and midterm plans
  • Confirm total budget control and company budget-making processes

Standard Costing & Pricing

  • Prepare unit cost estimation for new product introduction
  • Handle FG pricing (non-budget) and support on transfer pricing documentation
  • Support financial audits (die price, FGTP, standard costing)

Analysis & Forecasting

  • Perform analysis on Yield/Price/Exchange variances
  • Analyze monthly sales, manpower, and expense trends
  • Handle ad hoc analysis requests

Training & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with 5S and Safety audits

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in financial planning, cost control, or manufacturing finance.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) is a plus
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills; knowledge of RPA and automation tools is a plus.

Knowledge:

  • Standard costing, BOM, transfer pricing, and financial audit processes.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing cost structures and inventory management.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team effectively.
