Job Description

Timing Products Division (TPD) is looking for a Senior Staff Product Engineer to join our team to drive the manufacturing improvement activities for mixed-signal timing SoC.  It is a unique and exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional team to address production inefficiencies, implement cost improvement plans to enhance yield, test time, throughput, and quality to support the corporate business objectives. The job scope includes but are not limited to, statistical analysis for yield/test time improvement, ATE software and hardware management, product qualification, customer return and FA support, and BOM maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform yield and test time analysis for sustaining products
  • Drive continuous improvement in product quality and cost
  • Resolve ATE test program and hardware issues that compromise yield or quality
  • Work with the foundry ops team to identify and resolve process related issue
  • Support failure analysis on customer returns
  • PAT, SYL, SBL, SPC limit and disposition optimizations to protect quality while eliminating excessive waste
  • Collaborate with production planning team to fulfill customer orders
  • Drive NPI safe launch by using cloud based yield tool
  • Excursion management for both suppliers and customers
  • Product BOM release and maintenance by using Agile
  • Coaching and mentoring junior engineers

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in product engineering.  A strong analog circuit background is a must. Familiarity with timing product (e.g.  PLLs, Clock generators) would be a plus.
  • Familiarity with ATE tester platforms (eg Teradyne J750)
  • Knowledge of analog and mix-signal circuitry and the common building blocks, device physics, test methodology and DFT knowledge.
  • Experience with common lab test equipment (DC power supply, oscilloscope, multi-meters etc). Bench characterization experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with JEDEC/AEC qualification standards and stress test conditions. Experience with qual hardware/software development would be preferred.
  • Experience in yield management tools such as PDF Exensio, JMP. Apply statistical analysis to isolate the issue and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to managing supplier excursions and customer escalations through problem solving
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill.
  • A good team player. Effective in fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • A strong analog circuit background is nice to have.
