Job Description
As an Asset Preparation Specialist you will provide department-wide support in the following areas of content production for Accelerated Reader (AR) and myON: curation, text preparation, quiz development and pre-book production.
In all things, exemplify the company values & the department charter, apply lean principles, and let data drive decisions while putting people first. Reports to: Supervisor, Asset Preparation
For this role as an Asset Preparation Specialist I, you should will:
Use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tooling to extract text from PDFs, reformat text to align with ATOS guidelines, and generate ATOS data for titles selected for AR quiz production.
Enter book data according to Renaissance guidelines.
Create scripts, audio spreads and timecodes to support myON book production.
Utilize reports to monitor AR and myON production goals & workflow and prioritize work accordingly.
Work collaboratively with quiz and book production teams.
Attend and participate in weekly team meetings, bi-weekly meetings with Curation and Content Operations, and monthly full Content team meetings.
Assist with projects.
Qualifications
For this role as Asset Preparation Specialist I, you must have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Reading and writing fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Capacity to learn new software applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus points for:
- Data entry and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting software.
- Experience working with both MacOS and Windows applications.

Salary Range: $34,900 - $52,300 This range is based on national market data and may vary by location.
