Job Description

As a Data Integration Setup Coordinator, you will serve as the primary technical contact and facilitator for a School District as it relates to the initial setup/implementation and subsequent (major re-implementation) changes of the nightly data integration process. 

In this role, you will be responsible for new Custom Data Integration setups, acting as the customer-facing liaison of data integration, including:  

  • Initial implementation of data integration: facilitate conversation with customer through technical aspects of the process including providing rostering data, connecting to APIs, using SFTP sites, setting up SSO and having discussions around setting and managing Usernames/Passwords.  

  • Proactive communication with customer and internal stakeholders, based on defined timelines to complete setup. 

  • Understand, prioritize, and manage your workload effectively. 

  • Proactively monitor and support newly set up integrations for a limited timeframe to ensure they are running as scheduled; troubleshoot to determine cause and resolve as needed.  

  • Coordinate and facilitate adjustments to initial implementation as needed, based on customers’ decision to move to a new data source, data warehouse, or identity provider/SSO.  Facilitate similar conversations as with initial implementation.  

  • Be responsible for new Schoolzilla Data Integration setups. 

  • Understand Renaissance products, rostering and reporting data requirements, and Custom Data Integration services.  

  • Attend training sessions and review deployment updates.  

  • Advise customers on Renaissance best practices as it pertains to the customer’s data integration and their use of Renaissance products. 

  • Define and deliver customer work requests to the programming team. 





For this role, you must have: 

  • 1 year or more experience in customer and technical areas of Renaissance Learning; or an Associate's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. 

  • Technical knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and CSV / txt files 

  • Excellent technical customer service skills  

  • Proven ability to offer consultative guidance, solve problems creatively, and demonstrate decision making skills 

  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as manuals, directions for working with different Student Information Systems, and departmental procedures 

Bonus points for: 

  • Experience with Putty/WinSCP 

  • Experience with various data integration methods, SIS Software Vendors and data providers like Clever
