Job Description

Our proposal solutions team is responsible for creating compelling and persuasive responses to hundreds of RFPs every year. As a member of this team, you will oversee the team of proposal administrators who are responsible for the proposal development process for RFPs to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality submissions. You will work and collaborate as part of a leadership team, focusing on employee engagement, process, and efficiency, while being strategic and innovative. 

In this role, you will: 

  • Serve as a leader/mentor for the Proposal Solutions’ proposal administrator team. This includes coaching team members for continued growth and development as well as creating team unity that drives results. 

  • Support the team by providing strategic guidance and fixing roadblocks for success. This includes resolving escalated issues and serving as a liaison during conflict, as well as looking deeply at projects and initiatives to provide recommendations on a go-forward-plan. 

  • Identify and develop networks with Sales leaders and team members to ensure our proposal processes and resources hit the mark for everyone involved. 

  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of current education initiatives and correlations to Renaissance products and services. 

  • Serves as a role model for Proposal Solutions department with professionalism under pressure and tight deadlines and allocation of time to support the team whenever needed. Serves as a resource for both proposal administrators and other positions within the department for questions, input, and assistance. 



For this role, you must have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in a related field, and 

  • Two to five years of leadership experience, or 

  • Equivalent combination of education or experience 

Bonus points for: 

  • Previous sales or proposal development experience preferred. 

  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals Foundation Certification. If not currently certified, will be required to acquire certification within 18 months of hire.
