Job Description


The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors to the Renaissance Bloomington, MN office, providing office management, assisting departments with as-needed support services including computer work (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), logistics assistance, organization, and general support. As the main voice representing Renaissance by answering calls and greeting visitors, the front desk receptionist should be comfortable working with people and interested in learning and performing support tasks to assist departments and staff. This position will also provide support for projects and on-going back up for various departments, as needed:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ordering and managing supplies and equipment, and working with office vendors

  • Greet visitors and manage their experience at Renaissance

  • Answer phones and direct calls; handle mail and FedEx needs

  • Keep kitchen area clean and ready for colleagues and visitors: managing coffee and soda supplies/first aid kit, as well as loading/emptying dishwasher

  • Ideally, provide notary services

  • Manage conference rooms and schedule

  • Assist teams as needed with projects

  • Ongoing assistance for bids and contracts, including assisting remote responses to RFPs, generating / mailing printed bids, maintain print customer files of signed contracts, vendor response, and completion of customer required forms

  • Ongoing assistance for marketing, including mailings and inventory management

  • Event assistance (management of logistics for offsite and  remote events like national and regional meetings, President’s Club, Service team meetings)

  • Data file processing, matching, and audits, order management and invoicing backup
