Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to oversee and manage new product development (NPD) at METAXA. This role ensures seamless project execution, from planning to industrialization, by coordinating with R&D teams in France and the bottling factory in Greece, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality, innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Product Development & Management
•Lead the introduction of new products at the Metaxa bottling plant, ensuring smooth industrialization.
•Work closely with R&D Packaging teams, master blender, industrial partners, and external vendors to meet project performance indicators (costs, planning, CSR and quality).
•Lead the industrial risks and impacts analysis. Track project progress, budget, timelines, and provide regular reports.
•Drive value optimization initiatives as well as simple packaging development projects (i.e RTD, labels, new formats,). Proactively ensure first-time-right execution for sustainability, quality and efficiency
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
•Serve as the primary liaison between Metaxa bottling plant and Remy Cointreau partners.
•Facilitate meetings, approvals, and stakeholder updates throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality & Compliance
•Ensure all projects adhere to brand ambitions, safety, quality, and food safety standards from the design phase to production.
•Coordinate with the industrial partner, R&D, and suppliers to implement tests, inspections, and compliance checks.
•Manage quality claims with a problem-solving mindset and support OSC in supplier quality issue resolution.
Technical Expertise
•Oversee packaging industrialisation and ensure the role of packaging expert for the bottling plant.
•Manage all CSR initiatives related to dry goods, including: CO₂ footprint measurement, eco-design projects, and waste reduction efforts.
Qualifications
•You are an engineer or a technical sales representative with experience in packaging development and global understanding of the industrial process,
•You can bring three years experience working in packaging science, food engineering or related fields,
•You have ideally an interest in eco conception, sustainability and knowledge of quality standards (ie ISO9001),
•You have strong communication and project management skills with ability to engage, influence and convince all kind of stakeholders,
•You have an entrepreneurial mindset: goal oriented with ability to multi-task. Problem solving and adaptability mindset,
•You are fluent in English, fluency in Greek will be a strong asset.
