Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Room Attendant / Housekeeper to join our professional and hardworking Housekeeping Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle, creating truly memorable and impressive 5* experiences for our guests. 

About Us  

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently completed a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 27 bedchambers and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

About You 

• Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing and refreshing linen and towels. 

• Cleaning and tidying our public areas ready for the guests. 

• Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities, and collaterals. 

• Engaging with guests where required. 

• Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping manager. 

• Cleaning rooms can be physically demanding but you will receive full training and be surrounded by a supportive team. 

The Offer   

• £11.10 per hour  

• Part time permanent position – 16-20 hours per week worked over 4-5 days including weekends. Hours range 10 am to 3pm  

• Will include one evening turndown shift per week

• An additional share of service charge and tips (paid out every 2 months) 

• 28-day holiday including bank holidays plus a Paid day off on your birthday
