Job Description
As a Food & Beverage Cost controller, you will work collaboratively with various department managers to analyse Food & Beverage costs and maximize profitability whilst minimizing waste.
You will be responsible for the short and long term planning of the Food & Beverage controlling and pricing aspects. You will help maintaining a suitable inventory of food and beverage items for the entire collection as well as actively take part in engineering the menu in terms of pricing
Qualifications
- Effectively controlling the Food & Beverage Cost
- Prepare variance analysis and communicate with relevant parties
- Check and verified voids, discounts and complimentary items in the POS systems
- Check the cost of sales in all F&B outlets and ensure that the costs are within budget
- Check the menu pricing on the POS system and ensure the correct prices are loaded
- Responsible for preparing daily Food & Beverage and monthly cost reports and distribute to management
- Participate in stock tacking at the outlets
- Coordinate with restaurant management and finance to sort out issues pertaining to Food & Beverage
Additional Information
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Good analytics and reporting skills.
· Experience with Accounting System, POS Systems and cost and inventory systems.
· Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment.
· Have a high-level attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
