Perfectly nestled in Lexington, Massachusetts, just 15 miles outside Boston, the  Inn at Hastings Park   provides unrivaled hospitality and exceptional culinary experiences. The Boston area’s only Relais & Châteaux property, the Inn features 22 stylishly luxurious accommodations, including a lovingly preserved guest house and barn that merge Lexington’s historic heritage and architecture with a contemporary American chic design.

We are looking for a line cook to work a four day work week: Monday-Thursday 12pm-close (will be done between 9pm- 10pm). Monday and Tuesday nights have a small bar menu only, so the cook must be able to work by themselves, cook meat to temp, and close the line. Wednesday and Thursday are regular dinner service.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service 
• Read and execute Banquet Event Orders 
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Put away food order. Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Skills

• Have a working level of kitchen English
• Hot line cook experience
• Cook meat to temp
• Sense of urgeny

- Pay $22-$24 per hour
