Job Description

AS MAITRE D'HOTEL

You will be the privileged contact for your client and will be able to adapt to their requests, advise them and offer them a personalized and memorable service. 
Involved in the daily operational management of the establishment, you will work in close collaboration with our Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage in charge of the Restaurant.

  • The Maitre d'hôtel efficiently allocates and directs the work tasks of the restaurant according to the directives received.
  • He/she ensures that the guest is well looked after.
  • He/she offers an attentive service adapted to the customer's needs.
  • He/she adapts his/her organization and staffing levels according to the projected covers per meal period.
  • Participate in inventories of china, glass and silver, linens and other supplies and inform the Director of Food and Beverage of the need to renew stocks.
  • He/she ensures that his/her teams are well presented.
  • He/she organizes and controls the work of his/her team.
  • He/she ensures the cleanliness of his/her workplace.
  • He/she is in permanent contact with all departments of the hotel.
     

Qualifications

  • Ideally 2-3 years of similar experience, you have a significant experience in a position and similar institution.
  • You have an excellent presentation and a strong guest interaction. You are motivated, have a keen sense of organization and teamwork.
  • Fluency in English is essential.

BENEFITS:

  • This is a seasonal position beginning in April and ending at the end of October.
