The Opportunity

At PENN., great product starts with understanding our customer — what she wants, what inspires her, and what will make her come back.

As a Fashion Buyer, you’ll help shape assortments that bring our brand vision to life while delivering strong commercial results. You’ll combine your eye for fashion and emerging trends with a strong understanding of sales, margin and customer insights to make smart product decisions throughout the season.

Reporting to the Director, Merchandising, you’ll work closely with Design, Planning & Allocation, Sourcing, Marketing and Visual Merchandising to build and commercialize assortments that are relevant, inspiring and right for our customer.

What You’ll Do

  • Build compelling seasonal assortments that reflect the PENN. customer, brand direction and key fashion trends.
  • Partner with Planning & Allocation to determine quantities, product flow and inventory needs by channel and store profile.
  • Analyze sales, margin, inventory and product performance to identify opportunities and make informed in-season decisions.
  • Manage your business with a strong focus on sales, gross margin, inventory productivity and profitability.
  • Develop pricing strategies that balance customer value, competitive positioning and margin objectives.
  • Manage the seasonal buying calendar, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are met.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • University or College degree in Merchandising Management or Fashion Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of merchandising management/ retail  buying experience
  • Billingual French and English
  • Proven people management and leadership skills
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
