The Accounting Manager will be responsible for all the daily activities of the project accounting and general accounting functions.

This position is highly visible and will require regularly interfacing with senior management and regional management team.

The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Division accounting team in Los Angeles, CA.

Essential Functions:

* Actively manages monthly close process by adhering to the closing calendar and delivering on-time and

accurate monthly accounting deliverables

* Review contracts to determine proper revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP

* Assist managers in monthly revenue and profit variance analysis

* Review account reconciliations in accordance with accounting policies and ensure that all Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled each month

* Prepare JV financial statements and record multiple JV equity earnings

* Review and supervise accounts receivable activities

* Ensures ongoing compliance with SOX and  internal control policies and procedures

* Provide ad hoc financial analysis assistance to the regional management team

* Coordinate inventory control process including physical inventory at multiple locations

* Train, supervise and motivatethe support staffs

Essential Requirements: 

* Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Accounting required. CPA or MBA is a plus.

* A minimum of 5 years progressive experience in accounting

* Project accounting experience is required

* Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

* Thrive in a high-energy and fast pace environment

* Strong working knowledge of Excel and integrated business system (JD Edwards a plus)

* Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

* Supervisory experience; ability to manage and motivate staffs

* Ability to self motivate, multi task and be a team player
