About the Role
REDE Consulting is looking for a talented and driven ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience in building custom applications and products on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Service Portal, Widgets, AngularJS, JavaScript, and integrations. Experience with Compliance, IRM/GRC, or Now Assist/AI features will be an added advantage.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy custom ServiceNow applications and product-level features.
Build and enhance Service Portal components, including widgets, UI pages, and reusable modules.
Write efficient, maintainable code using JavaScript, AngularJS, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules.
Develop and configure integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, web services) with external systems.
Customize platform UI/UX following best practices for performance and maintainability.
Participate in solution design, technical architecture discussions, and requirement analysis.
Ensure platform stability and version upgrade readiness through proper development and testing.
Document technical designs, workflows, and configuration details.
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as architects, QA, product owners, and other developers.
Follow coding standards, security best practices, and governance guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
Strong expertise in:
ServiceNow Service Portal
Custom widgets
AngularJS
JavaScript / Glide scripting
Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts
Experience developing custom applications or enterprise products on the ServiceNow platform.
Good understanding of integration technologies (REST, SOAP, API authentication, MID Server, etc.).
Basic understanding of GRC/IRM, Compliance workflows, or Now Assist (AI features) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, scalable, re-usable code.
Experience working in agile/scrum teams.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or higher certifications preferred.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of platform security, ACLs, and data policies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
Understanding of enterprise product development lifecycle.
Familiarity with ServiceNow Store app development standards.
