Job Description

About the role:

As a Senior Manager Data Engineering, you will lead a team of Data Engineers focused on enabling high-impact Data & AI use cases that generate meaningful business insights. This role combines leadership with a strong focus on delivering data products that directly support decision-making and drive value across the organization.

You will play a key role in connecting data engineering with business needs, ensuring that data is transformed into actionable insights that shape the future of digital healthcare.

You will operate in a Data Analytics Product environment, where cross-functional teams build and own data products at scale, with clear ownership, standards, and a strong focus on business impact and adoption.

About the tech stack:
Azure, Databricks (Unity Catalog & Delta Lake), DBT, Spark, SQL, Python, CI/CD pipelines

About your tasks:

  • Lead and develop a team of Data Engineers, creating an environment where people grow and deliver impactful work.
  • Drive the development of data models and pipelines that enable high-quality, reliable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business questions into data-driven solutions across domains like e-commerce, finance, and supply chain.
  • Stay close to the data and hands-on when needed, ensuring best practices in data modeling, quality, and usability.
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making, enabling teams across the organization to leverage data effectively.
  • Contribute to the development and scaling of data products, ensuring consistency, quality, and reusability across domains.

Qualifications

About you:

  • You bring strong experience in data engineering and team leadership, with a focus on delivering business impact.
  • Deep expertise in DBT, SQL, and modern cloud environments (Azure, Databricks).
  • You enjoy connecting data with business outcomes, turning complex data into meaningful insights.
  • You are passionate about developing people and fostering a strong data culture.
  • You have experience working in or with product-oriented data teams and data product setups.
