About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our Technical Engineering department. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and components that power and control our advanced conveyor systems. You will work closely with Operations and technicians to ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and minimal downtime. 

Job Description

  • Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of conveyor and production systems to meet operational efficiency targets.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform maintenance and repair tasks on various conveyor technology components, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to safety standards.
  • Fault Analysis and Troubleshooting: Conduct structured analyses to detect faults, identify root causes, and carry out professional troubleshooting to resolve issues effectively.
  • System Inspections: Perform functionality and safety checks on mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Technical Operations: Take responsibility for tasks involving mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, ensuring the seamless operation of critical systems.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training in a technical area or a comparable qualification.
  • Practical experience (basic knowledge) in pneumatics, drive technology, and measurement and control systems; initial foundational experience in PLC technology is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to work in a shift system (2-shift) and on weekends (1-shift).
