Job Description
Based at our Amsterdam, Netherlands office. This is hybrid role that requires candidate to work Monday and Wednesday in our office, with the option to work Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from home. Our office hours are 0900hrs - 1730hrs Monday to Friday. Candidates should have relevant "right to work" in Netherlands.
Manage and grow relationships with European accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for customers and agents. Lead order fulfilment activities, including order processing, scheduling, warehousing, and transportation, while supporting sales, marketing, product development, credit, and customer service initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end order fulfilment for European accounts, ensuring accurate order processing, timely deliveries, and proactive communication of order status.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service.
- Handle consumer inquiries and complaints, delivering effective solutions and responses within established service levels.
- Support company-owned markets, particularly Germany, by driving reorder activity, assisting sales efforts, and managing customer order intake.
- Collaborate with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure efficient and timely shipment of customer orders.
- Partner with Sales and Brand Managers to understand customer needs, identify growth opportunities, and support market demands.
- Support Red Wing retail stores through reorder management, forecasted order processing, and inventory monitoring.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively communicate potential shortages to management and demand planning teams.
- Manage backorders by coordinating with customers, Accounts Receivable, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop strong product knowledge to recommend alternatives, support customer needs, and promote discontinued inventory.
- Train and coordinate temporary staff during peak seasons to support order processing and account management activities.
- Focus on handling B2C business: consumer questions, order placement and tracking, inventory management
- Work with content management system of the e-commerce platform, as well as inventory management system
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum three years related customer service and/or sales experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience using computer-based business systems such as order management, payment processing, inventory management, CRM, or e-commerce platforms.
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new software applications.
- Experience maintaining accurate product information, uploading content, images, and product details to websites or online marketplaces is preferred.
- Maintain knowledge of sales and distribution processes from order entry through shipment.
- Build and manage strong relationships with logistics partners, including DSV.
- Provide backup support for U.S.-based customer service teams and future e-commerce customer service operations.
- Stay current on company systems, processes, and communication tools.
- Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and core values.
- Participate in ongoing learning and professional development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Fluent in English and German, Dutch
- Ability to troubleshoot basic order, payment, inventory, and website-related issues and escalate technical problems when necessary.
- Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
- Excellent planning, organization, and prioritization abilities.
- Analytical problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently.
- Experience with ERP systems (Movex preferred).
- Proven ability to adapt to changing business conditions while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
