Job Description

Are you passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences while ensuring financial sustainability? We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Director to oversee the operations of our restaurants within the Hotel. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest service, maintaining high product quality standards, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with chefs and culinary staff to develop and update menus.
  • Manage budgets for the restaurants and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, training, and development of restaurant staff.
  • Foster a customer-focused culture to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Work with the marketing team to promote food and beverage offerings.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Prepare financial reports and performance analysis for the restaurants.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and recommend innovative ideas.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless overall operations.

Qualifications

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school. Minimum of five years of experience supporting executive business leaders or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualified candidates will have strong administrative skills with attention to detail and time management; Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; Ability to prioritize and handle requests from multiple sources effectively; Resourceful with a high level of independence and initiative; Ability to identify process improvements to increase efficiency; Demonstrated ability to work with confidential material.

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 45 hours per week. However, the expectation is to work 50 hours a week on a regular basis.
