Job Description

Red Wing Shoe Company, Inc. seeks a full-time Sr. Business Systems Analyst based in Red Wing, Minnesota. Responsible for analyzing, solutioning, documenting and validating the complex business needs of systems owners and project stakeholders. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This position will primarily support Retail Tax, Retail payment processes and Supply Chain and Manufacturing business systems and applications. 

Qualifications

This position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field plus five (5) years progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Must also have 12 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following:

(1) analyzing, designing, and translating business needs into clear requirements to enable the design of flexible and forward leaning solutions to enable business strategies and align with IT architecture direction

(2) understanding database structures and data queries to create data mappings for system interfaces and ad hoc reports to research impacts of business processes on the underlying data.

(3) utilizing knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain and payment gateway business domains

(4) identifying and analyzing gaps, and investigating impacting problems across business functional areas to develop action and mitigation plans

(5) working with data mining and reporting tools including SSIS, MS SQL, DB2 and Power BI;

(6) working with manufacturing and supply chain modules in an ERP system.

Domestic travel required up to 10% of the time.
