Assist the Chef and work as a part of well executed, team oriented culinary team. Prepare all foods for service according to seasonal menus while following health and sanitation guidelines at all times. Accurately and efficiently cook hot and cold food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating, garnishing of cooked items, and preparing appropriate garnishes for all menu item plates. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

$14-17.50/hour DOQ

Work 20-40 hours per week during the summer over a combination of afternoons/evenings/weekends/holidays

• Basic understanding of reading recipes and cooking techniques
• The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of kitchen operations and be able to prepare dishes from scratch with minimal oversight
• Good organization and communication skills
