General Summary: 

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting, sorting and cleaning laundry as well as maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the property to provide high quality laundry for our guests. 

Primary Duties: 

• Perform all stages of linen processing including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading washers, dryers and chutes, ironing, folding, pressing, storing, and delivering.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area.
• Maintain stock levels of linen throughout the property.
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Perform guest and employee uniform laundry services as needed.
• Promptly report all maintenance concerns and follow up on repairs.

$10.34 - 16.59/hour depending on qualifications and experience; with an annual bonus amount up to $350.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, with previous related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Candidates should have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals as well as hold effective communication skills; and effectively working in a team environment with a positive attitude. 

Work Environment: 

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
