Job Description

Red Wing Shoes is seeking a Sr. Business Insights Analyst to join our Product Creation Team. This is a great opportunity for someone to serve as a strategic business partner in generating actionable insights that drive exceptional performance for Red Wing Shoe Company's four primary business units.

This role will develop a deep understanding of the business and align the most appropriate insights solutions with the broader organization to successfully address business opportunities and challenges. In addition, this candidate will partner with a cross-functional team of experts to design and deliver business reviews that provide valuable insights and influence decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in insights and analytics or a related field, primarily supporting a sales or retail organization; or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Certified Business Analysis Certificate is a plus. 

Candidates must have experience in strong demonstration of designing analytical solutions that deliver meaningful insights and results in positive business outcomes; Interpreting and articulating business needs to translate them into usable solutions; Use of independent judgment in analyzing business challenges and making key business recommendations to drive direction; Examining complex quantitative data and putting into a simple, intuitive format for clear and concise findings and presenting; Data warehousing and data modeling concepts; Data visualizations such as Microsoft Office, Power BI, DAX, SQL, Salesforce. 

Candidates should display organizational skills that represent prioritization of multiple projects while still delivering timely and detailed results; Time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines; Relationship building skills with a demonstrated ability to get results through influence and cross- functional collaboration; Storytelling skills with the ability to address diverse stakeholders; Excellent verbal and written communication skills to share findings with a non-technical audience; General business acumen knowledge.
