Job Description

We are looking for a Corporate Account Manager to join our wholesale footwear business.  This role is a great opportunity for the right candidate to manage sales, distribution and customer relationship management activities for named major accounts. 

The Corporate Account Manager is responsible for developing, directing and administering sales and distribution strategies for Irish Setter work and hunt footwear, in alignment with division and company strategy and goals. This position will focus on new customer acquisition about 25% of the time, and growing the existing account base 75% of the time.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of sales experience, preferably in a premium product sector.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience in sales with large national chains, regional chains, e-retailers and/or buying groups; Developing sales strategies and plans, and successfully implementing them through specific tactical activities; Consistently and effectively leveraging a solution-based sales process resulting in increased revenue and profitability; New customer acquisition with large chains. 

Candidates must have proven skills in prospecting, developing opportunities, closing new business, and growing existing accounts; Being service oriented, alert to customer needs, and focused on customer satisfaction; Results oriented and performance driven to achieve organization and individual goals; Creative, critical thinking and effective problem- solving; Effectively communicate with people at all levels of the enterprise, with public speaking expertise; Written and oral communication skills.

This position requires travel 30-50% of the time during normal times. Candidates will be based out of a home office, and it is preferred that they live near a major hub, as they will need to travel throughout the U.S.
