Job Description

Red Wing Shoes is looking for an HR Coordinator to support our SBF Tannery and corporate office. The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to one or more functions including benefits, payroll, leave management and HRIS.  Performs a variety of day-to-day HR data-entry tasks ensuring data integrity and the processing and reporting of HR data. Handles problems and non-routine situations by determining the approach or action to take and interprets guidelines, procedures, policies, and practices related to payroll and benefits. Partners with the larger HR team on various HR projects.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or Associate’s degree combined with 1-3 years relevant experience. Human Resources and payroll experience a plus.

Candidates will be detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize; Have a passion for process improvement, with ability to evaluate and optimize processes and procedures; Ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality; Ability to work independently under general direction; Be a highly energized learner; Knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices a plus; Have strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office including proficiency in Excel. HRIS Ultimate Software system experience is a plus.
