Job Description

·         Provides leadership of multi-million dollar programs to meet people, process and technology objectives

·         Responsible for developing integrated program plans that articulate program objectives, business case, structure and approach, budgets and schedules.

·         Engages clients, stakeholders, steering committee and executive management to ensure alignment and commitment to the goals, objectives and deliverables for each phase of the program

·         Ensures successful delivery of programs through management of program-level schedules, communications, budgets, issues, risks and scope.

·         Provides oversight to the execution of projects within assigned program and provides strategic guidance to project teams as required

·         Synthesizes complex issues, risks, and financial and schedule implications into summarized views for senior and executive management.

·         Directs, monitors, and evaluates project managers ensuring program adherence to internal PMO standards and policies

·         Forecasts and manages program resource needs, directs resources assigned to the program and makes cross-project prioritization decisions

·         Proposes, implements and facilitates program governance structures.

·         Manages cross-initiative dependencies and constraints.

·         Represents executive sponsor's interest in day-to-day program activities and decisions.

·         Participates in development of company’s program delivery processes and tools

Qualifications

Knowledge of:

·         Advanced concepts, practices, and principles of program and project management

·         Application development lifecycle, methodologies and standards. 

·         Enterprise Project Management Systems

·         Principles of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control policies and procedures.

·         Principles of procurement, contract and vendor management.

·         Retail, CRM and eCommerce packages and systems

 Skill in:

·         Conducting research and developing and documenting business cases.

·         Identifying, defining and documenting complex business and technical requirements.

·         Implementing strategies and tactical plans across organizational lines.
