• Perform maintenance work in all areas requiring structural, carpentry, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, painting, mechanical and welding.
• Ensure the maintenance of structural, mechanical equipment and electrical repair.
• Provide operation and testing of the RWSC Security, Fire and Emergency Response Systems.
• Provide new construction, remodel and repair to all internal and external office and facility needs.
• Provide external maintenance to the facilities structures and grounds.
• Design AutoCAD layouts for office/building modifications.
• Operate and maintain the maintenance management system of the HVAC system at RFC.
• Provide a complete working knowledge of all electrical, pneumatic, water, boiler, HVAC, and elevator systems in the Corporate Office. Plant I, St. James 3rd & 4th floor and the Red Wing Shoe Store.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One to three years related experience
• Ability to work with various chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Must be capable of working on ladders at heights up to 25 feet at extended heights reaching up to as high as 50 feet.

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates and/or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, Engineering or related
• Infrared Scanning Level 1 Training
• Auto-Cad Drawing Working Knowledge
• Operate and maintain the Maintenance Management System

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES OR KNOWLEDGE

• Class Special Boilers License
• Must upgrade to a Second Class Engineer-Grade C
• Basic Welding
• Moderate to heavy lifting, bending and twisting.
• Trained in use of ladders and power equipment.
• Fork Lift License
• NSI 92.6-2006 Operator Training-Scissor Lift
• ANSI 92.5-2006Operator Training- Boom Lift
• Must have carpentry skills, working knowledge of all power tools
• Painting Knowledge of latex, oil, enamel
• Some travel requried
