Job Description

The Manager of Marketing Analytics is responsible for improving leverage of data and analytics in the decision-making process across the Marketing organization.  This key role is involved with efforts ranging from delivery of specific tactical analytics to creation and automation of departmental and enterprise Marketing KPI’s. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads strategic efforts to design, implement and create periodic reporting for enterprise-level Marketing KPI system, enabling insights that begin at source systems and roll up to corporate measures.
  • Leverage Consumer Data platform to conduct statistical modeling, data mining, customer segmentation and other quantitative analyses to assess customer behavior, identify sales opportunities, and recommend personalized marketing approaches
  • Work with digital analytics platforms to explore and tune complex data sets, resulting in iterative improvements to quality and consistency of the underlying data
  • Measure, analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through development and implementation of multi-touch attribution models
  • Drive business evaluation and implementation of new data, analytics and reporting technologies
  • Provide decision leadership to key business partners by assessing business challenges, performing analysis to determine cause, sharing insights, and formulating solutions. 
  • Use discretion and independent judgment to capture, analyze and disseminate key market trends and recommend proactive business measures based on such trends.
  • Make decisions and provides recommendations clearly linked to the organization's strategy and financial goals, reflecting an awareness of external dynamics.
  • Drive efforts to identify and analyze critical performance areas most in need of improvement.
  • Partner with the Finance and Field teams in achieving improved Marketing reporting. Support the preparation of ongoing Marketing value reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have demonstrated experience:

  • Utilizing a multitude of data sources and programs including Microsoft Office, Power BI, (SQL), web analytic tools(Google Analytics), CRM Systems (Salesforce), and campaign management software tools (Silverpop / Eloqua)
  • Designing data and analytics solutions that deliver meaningful customer insights and has experience preparing and delivering recurring reports.
  • Leveraging results of analytics efforts to also deliver insights and recommendations, making results actionable
  • Performing customer segmentation analysis
  • Team management and leadership skills including facilitation of cross functional team activities
