Job Description

The Red Gate Group is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support the United States Air Force (USAF). This role is essential in advancing the Mission Assurance (MA) program by delivering innovative technical solutions to enhance Critical Asset Risk Management (CARM) processes and systems.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will design and implement software solutions that address complex business challenges, working closely with Mission Assurance and Mission Assurance Assessment Team (MAAT) stakeholders. You will translate mission-critical requirements into technical specifications and lead the integration of Department of Air Force (DAF) and Department of Defense (DoD) data systems. Your work will directly contribute to the protection of Task Critical Assets (TCAs) and Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI) vital to national security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Integration: Architect and implement scalable software solutions to address complex Mission Assurance challenges, ensuring alignment with DoD and USAF policies.
  • Requirements Translation: Collaborate with MA and MAAT business owners to translate operational requirements into technical deliverables.
  • System Integration: Design and execute strategies to integrate USAF and DoD data systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and data accuracy.
  • Project Management: Lead the end-to-end delivery of technical solutions, including process mapping, solution design, and workflow optimization.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all solutions comply with DoDI 3020.45, AFPD 10-24, and AFI 10-2402, supporting USAF’s Mission Assurance framework.
  • Certification: Obtain the Foundry Solution Architect certification within 90 days of award to support advanced solution architecture requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance 
  • Proven experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables
  • Ability to obtain the Foundry Solution Architect certification within 90 days of hire
  • Strong knowledge of Mission Assurance frameworks, including DoDI 3020.45 and CJCSI 3209.01A
  • Demonstrated expertise in system architecture, software solutions, and data system integration
