Job Description
The Red Gate Group is seeking a Leadership Action Officer/Communications Specialist to provide high-impact communications and leadership support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to ensure effective communication strategies and support organizational initiatives. Your contributions will directly enhance decision-making and organizational alignment at the highest levels of government.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication Development: Create, edit, and distribute professional communications, including emails, briefings, and reports, tailored to federal client needs.
- Presentation Support: Design and prepare visually compelling PowerPoint presentations to convey critical information effectively.
- Leadership Support: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information and materials.
- Coordination & Outreach: Facilitate communication between stakeholders, organize meetings, and provide follow-up documentation to ensure alignment across teams.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement standardized templates and procedures for consistent and effective communication.
- Strategic Planning: Assist leadership in identifying key priorities and aligning communication efforts to organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in communications or a related field.
- Proven track record of creating polished, professional emails, presentations, and reports for federal clients.
- Skills:
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with senior leadership.
