Job Description
As a Customer Support-Data Analyst, you will Gather, Clean, Model, Interpret, and Present data findings.
Gather: Analysts often collect data themselves. This could include conducting surveys, tracking visitor characteristics on a company website, or utilizing datasets from data collection applications.
Clean: Raw data might contain duplicates, errors, null values, or outliers. Cleaning the data means maintaining the quality of data in a spreadsheet or through a programming language to ensure the integrity of your interpretations won’t be wrong or skewed.
Model: This entails creating and designing a database structure to enable analysis and visualization. You might choose what data types to store and collect, establish relationships among how data variables are related to each other, and work through how the data is represented.
Interpret: Interpreting data will involve finding patterns or trends in data that to will help you answer the customers’ question and deliver insights.
Present: Communicating the results of your findings will be a key part of your job. You do this by the creation of different visualizations such as charts and graphs, writing reports, and presenting information to interested parties.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with: Power BI, Jupyter Notebook/Lab, Python, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Data visualization: Capable of consolidating findings in a clear, comprehensive format to ensure colleagues, employers, and stakeholders will understand.
- Communication: Strong written and speaking skills to communicate with colleagues and other stakeholders are good assets in data analysts.
- Critical thinking: Capable of making assessments or drawing conclusions based on analysis of facts, trends, and evidence.

- Research: Capable of conducting thorough research to justify and validate trends and anomalies within data.
- Experience with developing standard operating procedures, identifying areas of improvement and conducting research to improve data analysis techniques.
Desired Qualifications:
- Programming languages: Knowing a statistical programming language like Python to enable handling large sets of data and performing complex equations.
- Statistics and math: Capable of using statistics and math to validate findings.
