As a security test engineer on our team, you'll use your experience to work with testers and engineers to evaluate software developed for the DoD. You’ll build a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automated security tools, you'll generate data and execute the security test cases to verify/validate software security, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor health of ACAS and STIG evaluation. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to test the code. You’ll also broaden your experience in cloud security architecture and gain skills in new areas such as automation and cloud computing while sharing your testing experience with your team. • 5+ years of experience in information security
• Experience with software security testing & assessment and Network Vulnerability Management & Compliance Monitoring
• Experience with Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) 
• Knowledge of DoD IT Security Requirements, Frameworks, and Tools that include RMF, NIST, STIGs, SRGs, and SCAP
• Knowledge of Basic System Administration within Windows and Linux platforms including Windows 10/11, Server 2012, 2012R2, 2016, 2019, and RHEL 7/8/9
• Ability to create, write, and update technical documents such as SOPs, PPT briefs, respond to data calls, and regularly correspond with government & contractor leadership
• IAT Level III Certification
• Ability to obtain Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) certification within 6 months of start date

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of PowerShell, Active Directory, VMware, BMC Remedy, YUM, HBSS, Splunk, Microsoft SCCM/WSUS, Tanium, Server Administration, Agile Methodology
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Microsoft, or Linux Technical Certification preferred
